Information We Collect

Aadhaar, PAN and GSTIN numbers

We do not collect, receive or store any Aadhaar number, Virtual ID, PAN or GSTIN that you enter into any validator on this site. All validation is performed locally in your browser by JavaScript that we deliver to you; there is no server endpoint that accepts these numbers. This applies equally to the single-number validators, the bulk validator (including uploaded files, which are read only in your browser) and the embeddable widget.

Usage data

We collect anonymous usage data such as browser type, device information, pages visited and whether a validation passed or failed (never the number itself). This information is collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics and is used to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

Local storage

Your browser may store a small flag recording that you dismissed the cookie notice, and a service worker cache of the site's pages and scripts so the validators work offline. Neither contains anything you typed.
